"Relict" was developed and adopted in 2006. Designed to protect serial tanks from modern and promising anti-tank weapons. The complex provides protection of T-72 and T-90 tanks from cumulative ammunition, including tandem, with a level of armor penetration up to 1000 mm and M829A2 and M829A3 type OBPS, piercing up to 800 mm of steel.
